Wood & Steel Axe Company is the high country’s premiere mobile axe throwing entertainment company. With offerings ranging from a sleekly designed mobile trailer's that arrives right to your front door, to custom designed targets to activate any space, we have an offering for any business or event.
Grounded in the belief that fun brings us together to inspire new ideas and brave new ventures, Wood & Steel strives to create custom team building games and activities to engage even the timid outdoor adventurist. We offer on-site training throughout each event, competitions, and even provide the option to try your hand at cross cutting, cornhole and other team games.

We like doing fun things, and we are subscribers to the proverb that says there is no such thing as poor weather, only inadequate clothing. Because of this, our goal at Wood & Steel is to allow people to engage in fun activities in any location, in any weather, and always together with friends and family.
Our love for the sport of axe throwing began when co-founders Tony and Tim began participating in the Man of the Cliff Annual Competition in 2009. They tried their hand at axe throwing, speed chop and archery to name a few. Our families were familiar with outdoor activities, but who knew that hucking axes and chopping wood could be so fun? And why did it just have to be once a year? After several family camping trips and afternoon barbecues with makeshift axe targets, in 2019 Wood & Steel Axe Company was born.
We believe that fun brings together family, friends and corporations. It inspires new ideas, and brave new ventures. You have our word that our passion for fun will resonate from our crew, and you will have a blast with us whether you visit us at our location at the Grand Hyatt, participate in a team building at our custom built axe cage or attend a birthday party in our mobile axe cage.
